Abstract
|

|
Authors experienced five cases of adult diphtheria which is relatively uncommor in Korea during last winter. All cases were pharyngeal diphtheria and had relativelyn Korea during last winter. All cases were pharyngeal diphtheria and had relatively mild symptoms an dclinical course. A paticularly noticeable finding was massive cervical lymphadenopathy, so called "bull neck", which observed on four cases.
Four cases were recovered with antiserum and penicillin therapy. One patient died with the complication of myocarditis
